Should I also turn on MAP prediction function now? Or leave that alone a little longer?

You could tentatively try it, just remember to turn off classic transient too, can always reverse the choice.

I've got to take the truck to St George for a vehicle inspection required for my trip. I'll see how things are now before making that change but I did at least successful find where to make that change.

Edit, inspection will be tomorrow instead and I turn MAP prediction on. Time for another cruise

I doubt it, it's not an official state inspection. It's more of a pre-trip for a thing he's taking part in

It's the "VIP inspection" at Big O Tires, not sure what they will check but I'm assuming it's safety of sorts to make sure it's not going to fall apart on the trail I think the general idea makes sense especially since they will be providing a mechanic for anything that happens along the way.

I don't think it was ready, stalled one me twice at an intersection after turning map prediction on. I quickly reloaded the other map and it was better but still stumbles a little.

With the manual boost T back in and turned down I'm back to 2.5psi

    Nice pic!
I think you have a realllly light wastegate spring. What brand gate is it? What happens if you turn the manual controller all the way off?

    O/100 clicks it makes 2.2psi

Wastegate is a TiAl 38mm with their little yellow spring, I think it's as light as it gets

Good gate. Is the signal line hooked to bottom port? Got pic of it installed? I just don't get how you only get .5psi with the solenoid setup as Type 1. You shouldn't be able to go lower than spring pressure.

I followed the instructions and plugged it into to the side port. IMG_20240807_215905.jpg

The engine felt sluggish and bogged down when it was only hitting .5 it was interesting for sure.

    That is the correct port.

    Elevation might be a factor.

Bigger picture, keep ironing the Ve map. Don't be greedy and blow this thing up. We can add boost no problem later on.

I'll leave the boost where it's at and continue to apply the LTFT's to the base map.
