Get some @CaliRaisedLed side shooting led pods with ditch mounts. Works great for me and it’s something different. 21A2E594-E677-4DD8-A41C-11FF10812605.jpg2D8B999C-F6D3-4E2C-905A-7E2F88D595B8.jpgD01C57FF-714A-4B6D-B50F-38F7C6CCF8A3.jpg

I have led pods too, used them to compensate for going with a straight bar up top, have mine angled oit some to give more flood on the side, the strait bar i have was good for strait light but its flood was lacking

I don't care about mpgs too much but wind noise and aero arent just little things. I have yet to be in a truck with windshield mounted light that doesnt make a TON of noise. May not whistle, but people are kidding themselves if they pretend the air alone is not loud at highway speeds.

Retractable behind the cab is the best. The roof blocks all light from the windshield and hood, and light throws plenty far enough that moving a few feet from the windshield to back of cab makes zero difference. Not LED's but my entire setup with actuator cost less than $300, and it retracts/adjusts beam with a button inside

    Headlights

    bumper lights

    roof lights

Bulky? A bit. Works? Absolutely. That is actually mine. I had to add brackets in the middle and a second bolt (small) on each due to vibration & lift. The visor would vibrate (almost flap) while driving and caught the wind once and flipped up. I also reshaped the brackets and moved it back an inch. I have since removed it and will be selling the visor when I get back home week after next.

I’m still between the 42 and the 50. Leaning toward the 42 because it’s smaller. Any thoughts on curved vs. straight??

50 will stick way past your window. Go with 42.
I run a strait one only because I personally didn’t really like the look of a curved one.
Strait gives more light out far but no flood vs curved gives off more flood.
I simply just got more flood by adding ditch lights

    +1 on the 42”

It just looks fitted. Anything bigger looks “off”

No, I used ditch mounts from rago fabrication. They bolt in with no trimming required.
