Here is my set up. 42" up top. 52" is too wide for our trucks. Then a 4D optic 22" bar on my TG bumper and 4D pods hiding behind the bumper on each side.

50",52" is the same thing. They are much better suited for a 2nd gen. A 42" (40") bar is perfect for our trucks. Did you see Post #1? I would talk to him. You can clearly see that bar is most likely going to catch the wind and have that whistling noise. Although it will put out a better light pattern, being that it sticks up so high and will have minimal glare. My bar doesn't get that whistling noise at all since it sits so low but I had a bad glare w/ my factory paint on the hood so I raptor lined it and the glare is almost completely gone. I'd get a 42" w/ low pro mounts and call it a day. Here is my hood now.

It looks great and i also agree with the 40" setup. Hopefully relentless fabrications will let me swap out the 50" brackets for these smaller ones

I have the 50 curved..i put door trim on the fins and have no wistle... yes there is wind noise but its because the light power cord is on one of the weather strips.. i get glare of my antennas ...and not any of my hood but i will say i can see the hood realy realy well. I might take it off and put it on the front bumper instead and then put some small cornwr lights on for the side light

I know this thread is about light bars but wanted anyone new to the forum to see the BAMF "behind the grill" option. I have 2 Squadron Pros back there but you can place a 20" light bar back there too. Contemplating changing out my grill to pure mesh and doing that.

I am always concerned with theft/vandalism so this might be a good mounting option for a bar for some. Freaking thieves..

my fenders and bedsides are from Glassworks... i have heard horror stories from folks having a hard time getting them in a timely manner, so you may want to consider Fiberwerx or Road Runner as options... personally i like the fit and looks of the Glassworks stuff, but I have heard good stuff about the others...
