1st gen limited seats

Update. 4Runner cushion fits the limited seats. Reupholster turned out nice

 

Did you find out if they were plug and play? I was lucky enough to pick up a very clean set of s-runner power lumbar seats recently but don't want to mess around with wiring.

 

It is a different connector. I haven't gotten around to matching the connector just yet. I am liking the seats though

 

Nice score been looking for the seats for months can't seem to find them in decent shape

 

Piggy backing off this thread. In my 15 year quest to find 1st gen Tacoma limited/sport seats I was gifted upper and lower limited/sport cushions for the driver's side seat. The guy who gave them to me has a 1st gen limited double cab that was rear ended so hard it torqued the seat brackets. So he got a limited seat and removed the brackets/rails to use for his brown interior... leaving the gray interior cushions. Which I just grabbed.

Does anyone know if I can simply take my current regular seat apart and plug n play bolt these cushions into it?

Since parts are getting harder to find, I got the 4Runner cushion replacement for my drivers

 

I also have a set of 4runner limited/sport seats (fully intact). But the fabric is pretty gross and I have no idea what the condition of the foam is in.

I was also going to look at getting 4runner foam since I know it’s in stock. I assume you only got the lower cushion since the upper 4runner cushions do not align with the Tacoma brackets?

 

I just got one lower cushion From Us Auto Seat cover and had the guy who did my upholstery put it in. Top cushions remained the the same. Steam definitely helps on the foam but mine was beyond help

 

Finally got

So finally got a chance to install my seats and I can confirm they are in fact plug and play, according to my 01 double cab pre runner. The plug itself is hidden underneath the driver seat air vent. I simple swapped out the seats and plugged in the seat belt and lumbar plugs and that was it. Lumbar works perfectly and feels great.

 

Those are S-Runner seats. I’m sitting on mine right now

Yes they are. Was hard to find but glad I did. Had to drive almost 4 hours to pick them up but at $300 I couldn't pass up the deal.

 

Yeah that is a deal. If I found a set I would just buy them to have a spare set. They look good in your truck.

 

Got my from a 02 4 runner limited sport paid $150 the guy didn’t know what he was holding too …
