I'm picturing a camera studio where all the models come in dressed up in whatever fancy nonsense they're supposed to be, looking apprehensive as Ryan just stands behind the camera head hidden and pantsless

Awhile back I got a big sheet of plexiglass, 4'x8' to lay down in the middle where the model stands because there is just no reasonable way to keep that spot/area clean when they're standing on the ground. The plexiglass reflects the light and basically turns the dirty floor white, as long as the plex itself isn't super scuffed up or dirty.

Speaking of which I need to go get another one, ours is a good 5 years old and pretty beat up

So really I just need to convince them to let me buy enough acrylic to line the entire studio with

Use a 2 part garage floor epoxy. You can get them in white or any other color. Valspar and Rust-Oleum make quality kits. They are so easy to clean.

    Ooooh hell yeah

I was stoked at how responsive it was for the moment I ran it; Diablo II is going on it right away

Poor Lenovo is much more beat up and it's only 3+ years old

Lives in the garage as my dedicated CNC laptop

    20231215_124213.jpg

The crappy part is that it has magnets at the top corners of the display for keeping it closed so this always collects metal grinding dust in the stupid fabric

I wiped it down before bringing it inside; these corners in the inside will have literal metal flakes standing upright

    20231215_124658.jpg

It gets really bad but it's my own fault for leaving it open as I use it for streaming music too

Naaaaaw, comes in handy when it needs to stay shut

Maybe the magnets do more good than harm by catching it before it goes elsewhere

I mean, we've all seen @Ozark_RegCab drain plug

    @Speedytech7

Would it be a bad idea to forgo using the 9800 GTX and E8400 and just look into a T61 or T61P?

They too use Duo Core but have a Radeon 5250; this will have me covered for the entirety of ooolder games and some newer titles like HL2 while keeping in the retro-gaming era.

I'd build a desktop unless you want a desktop replacement laptop. Keep in mind HL2 runs excellent on even modest modern hardware and I'd play it that way
