the oil extractor from HF is cheap and saves a lot of pain/cleaning by avoiding dropping the skid or trying to drain oil through a hole in it

relocating the filter is one of those things that i keep putting off but need to do for keeping the other half of the spilled oil off the skid lol

    I think I will too

The whole "YOU MUST DIAL THIS IN, DO THAT, ETC. OMG WRONG NOZZLE" was really off putting since the return on investment is basically zero - this is all just for fun especially for Theo

Nothing against those running the gauntlet with their Voron, Ender, etc. as those users will know significantly more than your average Bambu user

Just glad a printer ecosystem like this exists for the rest of us :homer:

those kind of machines are a labor of love, but that doesn’t make them more useful than one with more user assists

its like uhhhhh oxy acetelyne welding vs mig. if you love it no one is stopping you from putting in the extra work doing it, but that doesn’t reduce the value of newer tools/process

You'll have to share what all you're making

There's way too much stuff that's handy that I didn't realize existed

BBs arrived! Her kids are gonna love this one

i have done zero tuning at all, I think I will need to dial it in for anything aesthetically oriented but it works well enough out of the box for utility nic nacks

Knowing you, you'll have it dialed and making badass prints

For such items like toys (or utility in your case) I don't think aesthetics really matter much anyway
