1st gen on 35's ? Is that to heavy on stock trans and differential?

    I have a 01 tacoma on 6inch lift and 33s I wanna put 35s but wondering if that's too much stress on the trans.

    Research some other threads, I think a lot of guys are running 4:56 or 5:29’s.

    I wouldn't worry about the trans as much as I would the steering rack and CV axles. Could add a trans cooler if you're worried about the AT running hotter from working harder.

    If you have a manual trans then you have nothing to worry about with the transmission except extra wear/stress on the clutch.

    Seems people with 35s usually go with 4.88s or 5.29s when they regear
