"you can do more" Really? I would love to see a 6 inch drop bracket lift ride as nice and keep up with well setup mid travel.

Hey man bitchin truck. Quick question when you threw those spindles on did you obtain a higher lift then what you had before with the coilovers?

Sorry for the way late reply.
Yes it raised the truck up three inches.
I took 1.5" out of the preload and have since put on 550lb coils dropping it another ~.5"

Decided to try my hand at suspension design in solidworks.
Turns out its not as difficult as I thought it would be

Once I finalize the everything, I can start building fixtures and get the pieces cut out

    For those wondering:
    its 3.5" over
    5* caster at ride height
    .5* at full droop
    9.5* at full bump
    wheelbase is pushed forward 1"

    ~17" if i run a 10"coilover
    ~14" if i run an 8" coilover
it will bolt onto stock mounts

Design has changed, the upper mounts have been changed to help with the camber and caster curve. but the lower mounts and steering rack will remain "stock"

obviously things arent close to finished, a lot was done as quick as possible to confirm geometric constraints

Edit: This has been scrapped too; scrub radius once measure was 3" which is wayyyyyy toooo much

I caved....so now this is on order

While designing my own kit would have been awesome. The parts cost alone was more than just ordering a kit. Granted the DIY would have had more travel, but being my daily running an unproven kit just didn't sit right with me

It's begun. Going to do the entire installation of the Christmas weekend, but got to test fitting one of the fenders.

I saw that. Such a good price. I plan on buying one probably in 2 years. Just finished my mid travel set up and realized I should have gone lt but I'm just going to use and abuse the. Mid travel until then :) or might buy a first gen and make it a lt truck and keep mine mid travel
