Old thread, but welcome! Looks like it has second gen alloy wheels on it and otherwise super clean!

Yes, this is an old thread, but I think it's important and valuable for us all to understand the values for two reasons:
    1. So you know what you can sell your's for.
    2. So you know what's a good deal when you're buying.

This week i bought an all-stock (except radio), 2001 Xtracab TRD SR5 for $7,500.
    - Silver
    - 180,000 miles
    - 5-Speed Manual 4x4
    - Power windows and locks
    - Gray interior with center console
    - Really clean carpet and seats
    - No body rust
    - New Toyota frame installed a couple years ago

I thought the price was fair. Talked them down from $8,500 to $7,500, not that it matters where the price started though.

    Keep this going.

I hope this thread is still accepting! I purchased mine from a stealership in June (I think it was june) this year. 01 DC V6 auto SR5 TRD with 142K for 9-5. Previous owner had it wired for sound (but replaced the "new" radio with the crappy version): dual amps, sub wiring, etc. S/He also put the grille guard with fogs on them and had the stock flip-up moonroof replaced with a power spoiler moonroof.

Also had ... interesting rims. Also put a cold air intake and dual pipe FlowMasters and a tow package. I didn't like the rims so I got 15's for them. Instantly recovered 2 mpgs (I'm steady at 19-21 now, depending if I'm feeling especially..."happy").

Found out it also had the RS3000 VIP system installed...but no remote. Got a remote from a local demolishing yard for $20. I can't tell if it's been lifted, though. Regardless, I have sidesteps because I'm a short.

I recently added the A-pillar grips (WHY the 2001 is missing those is beyond me) and am about to take him in for his 160K-ish service. I don't think much needs to be done since I made the stealership change out all the belts and fluids, and do the rear main seal as well.

Bobby's a trooper. Took him to Pismo; didn't even hesitate. Funny thing is that I wasn't even looking for a truck. I had my eye set on a Tesla. But an ad appeared on CL for an Imperial Jade Mica Taco and I was hooked. Love my baby.

Bought an '01 DCSB auto SR5 4x4 with frame replaced on recall, in great shape with 142k miles. Bought it 2 weeks ago for $10,900.

It joined our Toyota family: '01 Stepside 4x4, '07 Sequoia, '14 Trail Teams FJ (for sale).

Feel like I got a really good deal.

02 DC Auto SR5 TRD 4x4 Radiant Red w/grey interior with 165k (but it seriously looks like it has 75k or less). I paid $14k. Washington truck so not a speck of rust. Dealer maintained until 100k. Paint is still amazing, basically no scratches, no dents, just amazing. Had a pre-purchase inspection and it came back with basically a few normal maintenance items and nothing else (trans flush, spark plugs, etc.). I know I didn't get a crazy deal, but finding this truck took me almost 5 months of daily searching. I looked at 5+ trucks before I found this one and still haven't seen a truck that is as clean as it is. Even if I paid $2k over, I don't plan on ever selling it...and it's literally the unicorn I was looking for with the 02/red/grey/trd/4x4/no abs trim setup. If I could buy a 1st gen DC brand new today, this truck is exactly what I would order. Plus I'm in Oregon and based on the prices I've seen over the 5 months I looked, it's not a crazy price (when you can even find one). These trucks go for stupid money out here, WA down to CA.
