LOL. I have seen that many of times. But, honestly, it probably works for those who are not as savy about tacoma's as we are.

I've also seen numberous s10's with the ZR2 decal, that weren't actually zr2's ha.

well 78k isn't too bad imo.
well i will soon be married so access or double cab would be ideal. Unless i get an older 4runner and a little tacoma.. :) That'd be a smoking deal for me.

95-97 4wd Taco's are still going for 7-9K where I live in good condition. 01-04 4wd's go for 14-18K. 98-00's are somewhere in the middle.

Here in Florida where they are usually low rust and rust free they are very desirable.

I had a guy offer me 10K for mine to ship to his family in Saudi Arabia; this was a few years ago...I just couldn't let go of my baby

The guy said that the tacomas and older pickups and other yotas like 4runners and Land cruisers are the only vehicles that will stay running in the desert over there.

Old late 80's and early 90's pickups still go for $4500 in my area too...crazy shit!

I almost sold my 2001 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 Limited TRD with 103,000 for $13600 back in September of 2010, so glad I didn't. I'm glad to see they're still holding their value.

I was going to buy a Tundra, but after pricing them out I changed my mind. I had my truck on Craiglist with a couple potential buyers too, but I decided not to sell it at the last minute. Since then, I've changed the timing belt, pullies, etc., put on a trd sc, added a 7th injector, put on new rims and tires, put in a new stereo and added a Sound Ordanance B-8PT sub (finally have some bass), and added a matching fiberglass cap. Next is some decent suspension. I decided to put some money into it since I was keeping it :)

Good luck to anyone buying one. They're great trucks.

I'd say they are pretty uniform in the good 'ol USA. That is HIGH!

And based on my Exp as a recent shopper, you'd could've gotten $3-4K more than that!

I wish I got more but I had a hard enough time getting that. Everybody instantly wanted to knock money off (which I understand but). At least it went to another member here on TW. Hope he's enjoying it!

Yes they do. Try looking for a low miles (<100K miles) 4X4, though!
