I've seen/ found a lot of nice trucks. But I don't have the money. I need to find a buyer for mine. I guess I am a little impatient too though

Lot of it depends on location and what you're looking for. Some people are avoiding trucks with the frame rebuild, but had mine done and never regretted it. New frame, brake/fuel lines, etc etc. Basically, most of the stuff on the bottom that will get trashed over the course of driving several years. Have a 2001 double cab with TRD off-road package with Undercover bed cover, liner, running boards and 76K miles. Put a new sunroof in after the frame job. Can't find anything in my area to replace it, so planning to keep.
If you find a good one, keep it...well worth the money.

I also looked for about 8 months. I finally found an 03 TRD xtra cab w/76,000 on it. Got a good deal after some wheeling & dealing. I ended up paying 12,000 for it with new 6'' lift, new 35's, & 488 gears. I sold my 92 standard cab 4x4 w/160,000 miles for 6,000. Prices around here are crazy!!

That's the key to pulling the trigger...having the cash on hand when the deal is on the table. All your research now is good to do, but the trucks you see now will probably not be available by the time you sell your truck. You really need to sell yours, then parlay that into your new vehicle. Risky, yes, but how else are you going to buy a truck without the money without a loan/borrowing?

If you have halfway decent credit, you can borrow $13,000 for 60 months for around $250/mo., If you don't mind payments that is... :)

Given your location, you're confirming no frame rust issues with these trucks (or at least the one you bought), right...?

I already have a motorcycle payment and about to buy a house. My truck is paid off too so I really don't want a truck payment.lol but I wouldn't mind trading. :)

    01 Prerunner w/ 160k $4000.

Sold my 99' 4Runner and was looking on Craigslist. A pest control company in Panama City listed this for sale Fri night right at closing time. I worked 9am-6am Fri/Sat then drove from 6am to get there right at 9am Sat when they opened the following day without ever talking to them over the phone. By the time they had handed me the keys for test drive 3 people had called. Once returned 2 more people had called. I was also able to get $500 off the price. Was so happy with the deal I gave the employee managing the sale $100 after closing. By the time I got home I had been awake for 30hrs. Long day.

VERY nice! Awesome price for an '01, and relatively low miles

I see TRD O/R decals, it has an E-locker, right?

At a Virginia tombstone, Gen Robert E. Lee is cringing at the notion of someone referring to CA as "The South"...

Heck, I still cringe every time I remember hearing during the news, reporters referring to LALA land as "The Southland"...

That was another area of disappointment. 4cyl so no locker but the kicker nor did it bilstein components. I asked about the decals and were told they were original to the truck. Not holding my breath.
