1st gen prerunner door lock issues

    Ok, so here is my issue...

    My driver door electric lock does not always unlock (pop up all the way) without hitting the button multiple times.
    The lock mechanism will pop up halfway... but not all the way without having to hit the button 3 times... now 3 to 5 times. eventually it will finally pop up all the way...

    Sometimes, I can pull it up fully by hand, but not often.
    I am worried it will stop popping up all the way permanently.

    Am I looking at a complete new assembly or is there a fix?

    Any help and advice would be appreciated.
