    Really anything could happen, I don't foresee my 1st gen losing value in the future to where I need to sell it now to capitalize on high prices, but I also wouldn't guarantee prices will continue to rise.

    What I ask myself is what would I do with the money I'd get from selling the truck, and would I miss my 1st gen enough to regret selling it?

    If you look on some of the auction sites, you can see what trucks have actually been bid to.
    However, most of the examples on those are going to be very clean trucks with low miles. It is still interesting to see them bringing in 20, 30, even 40k

    I bought mine used in 2016 for $11K. It was in great shape, and I looked at others in worse condition that people were asking $17K. I think you could easily get $16K for yours.
