1st Gen rear dif oil?

    I know it takes 75w 90
    I bought synthic gear oil that weight, all they had was LIMITED SLIP
    Counter guy "thought" it was OK to use in a 2002 Tacoma pre-runner (N0 locker) but you couldn't use non-limited slip gear oil in a LS rear end.

    I drained and replaced with this oil haven't had time to drive it, but
    Was he correct I can use LS gear oil in a 2002 Tacoma?
