I unscrewed the screw on the backside of my rearview mirror trying to take it off but it is still connected to the top somehow. Now with the screw loose it just hangs there and won't hold a position. Can someone help me figure out how to screw it back in?????

Take off the cover for your dome light and there should be one or two more screws holding it on. Did you unscrew the mirror from the stem or the stem from the roof? Does your mirror have any electronics like temp/compass that would have wires holding the mirror on?

if its the same as my 97 you should pop a little cover off and then theres 3 screws under it.
