Looking for opinions, experiences about this potential 1st gen setup:
    1. OME front (2882's with 90004 Nitros) possibly with LR UCA's (if I can swing the $)
    2. AllPro Expedition rear leafs with Fox 2.0 extended shocks with the AllPro U-bolt flip kit / shock relocate mounts
    3. Eventually, looking to add an ARB Deluxe Bullbar front bumper and a winch, a dual-swingout rear bumper at some point, sliders, some skidplates underneath. Stock bumpers for now. Maybe sliders in 3-4 months.
    Background:
I won the Taco lotto yesterday -- my 2004 DCSB failed it's frame test. Frame replacement under warranty is slated to begin next Wednesday. So I need to order the parts for my new suspension in the near future.

After hearing me describe how I use my truck for land surveying from the eastern plains of Colorado out near Limon -- lots of rough pasture/rangeland -- all the way to the Rocky Mountain front range foothills/mountains (e.g. near the base of Mt Evans up around 11,000ft) with National Forest Access Roads / fire trails... and that I typically have 4-600lbs in the back at all times... the mechanic who did my frame inspection and will be doing the frame replacement, suggested AllPro Expedition rear leaf springs. He has that setup with Bilstein 5125s in a 2001 Access Cab.

Squeaky Penguin has suggested Fox 2.0 rear shocks to me in the past. He is currently running custom rear leafs from Alcan.

While Alcan's might be ideal, AllPro is selling a rear suspension kit for $680 that includes the rear Expedition springs and Fox 2.0 extended shocks. Since Fox 2.0 rear shocks retail for $320 by themselves... I don't think I can touch that price with a custom rear Alcan setup, but I will probably call Alcan and inquire.

    Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences?

Any issues with OME front / non-OME rear? (E.g. would differing spring rates / shock dampening characteristics somehow fight / conflict?) I have heard the 882s provide a nice, softer ride, and are about the best one can do without going to a full coilover (full coilover is NOT in my budget at this point.) And that the AllPro Expedition is soft riding with a load in it all the time.
