    Hey all:

Beds are same dimmensions but does a 1st gen single cab cap/topper fit a '90s pickup? Mainly asking about fit of cap lines to back of truck cab...? (I know 1st gen xtra-cab does not fit single cab...)

    thanks --

I had a pickup shell on my 1st gen for a while, it fit okay not perfect though. The main problem I had with mine was that it had the gasket-tube cab seal, which never fit my ext cab so it leaked in the rain/car wash. I bet it would've sealed on a single cab though.

The 89-94 trucks are a couple inches lower to the top of the cab measured from the top of the bed rails than first gen Tacomas so toppers from trucks are short on Tacomas, bed dimensions are the same so they fit, as long as you’re cool with the height not a problem
