Okay guys and gals here is a 1st gen supercharger that I had to take off my '04 3.4L. It needs to be rebuilt. I have all the mounting hardware, brackets, belt, etc. that was taken off. Again, it will need to be reuilt. It was working when taken off. First $1000 gets it. Trying to sell locally. If shipped, buyer to pay shipping charges. PM me if interested.

Did you paint the supercharger black?

Or is this a 4th gen supercharger for the 1st gen Tacoma?

Here is some info from David Gonzalez who works at Magnuson on the rebuild cost...

Our inspection fee is $85.00 to inspect the supercharger, the repair depends on what it might need… it can range from $475.00 to $1200.00 for the internals.

Not hating on your thread, depending on your reply I might buy it myself.

What makes you suspect it needs to be rebuilt?

Ok, so I talked with the mechanic today and he believes it is the nose cone bearing but couldn't be positive till it is pulled apart and inspected. Wish I could tell you more but that is all. If I don't sell it I may rebuild it myself and put it back on.

yea nose cone oil need replaced every 50k or so on them. Neglect of that would kill the bearing. Shouldn't bet horrible to rebuild then.
