hi there Im posting this tread up for some help on my 2004 tacoma that is having AC problems. If some one can direct me to another thread or shine the light on the problem I will greatly appreciate it !

4 months ago i replaced the compressor because it froze an i needed a complete new one; the problem now is that its blowing air but its not cold all the time; sometimes it starts kinda cold and then turn to normal air other times it just blows regular air.

I took it to an AC shop, and the guy said that its leaking very minimal and that i need a new compressor and also replace the whole ac components from the truck so it could work properly. I think he just wants to squeeze money out of me.

    Thanks in advance!

Did they replace the Drier when they changed the compressor? Oftentimes A/C shops recommend replacing the Drier whenever the system is opened up.
