I see on your site that you have a listing for 3rd gen 4Runner? Is this the same kit for a 3rd gen? Is that still in R&D?

It is the same tower, but uses the deeper axle tabs, as the 4runner suspension lets the axle bump out a couple inches higher, almost right up to the frame.
I'll sell it, no one has installed on a 4runner yet, but it will fit a 2.5x10 smooth body remote reservoir.

I missed out on the frame I was hoping to buy, so I won't be making a frame box kit anytime soon, have at it! I don't need to buy another Tacoma (although I want a 1st gen)! However, if I trip over the right 1st gen, I would have no choice but to get one.

you can have my R&D frame when I'm done with it (probably about 6-8 months) if you want it. (I'm in NC)
    - or just come on down and prototype on it and hang out at the shop for a few days - more the merrier in this niche.

Are these kits still a thing for sale? Kinda late to the game but want to move my current relocated shocks outwards and mess around with that option

I think we might be done making them, slow moving item. We only have so much bandwidth and adding new products for new rigs

Bummer, makes sense though its hard to keep up as a small business with the newer models needing more of your time I'm sure. Thanks for the reply though! I'll have to find or make my own version.

Solo Motorsports makes some relocations as well. Tbh if you have a grinder, decent bits for drilling steel, and can weld it’s easy to make your own if you put in the time.

Most people make their own relocation for a 1st Gen. They just keep their shocks on the inside of the frame and make new mounts to run a 10” stroke shock.

You have to have a REALLY wide axle to run outboard mounted shock on a 1st Gen and not rub.
