I can tentatively send 1/2" spacers and longer hardware for an extra $7.50. If I find out I can do less spacer, I will switch it to best suite y'all. Obviously the smallest spacer possible is best for ground clearance so that's what I will aim for.

How does 1/8" compare with stock skids? With these skids what are my options for transmission skids in the future?

It's hard to directly compare the skids, since the stock one has a bunch of stamped features and supports along the inside to "strengthen" it. However, the 1/8" is 42 lbs of high strength steel, and the factory skid is about 8 lbs of who knows what kind of metal.

As for adding a transmission skid later, you would have to cut off the very rear bent up piece of this skid, the part I consider "steering rack coverage". It would interfere with the transmission skid, since both skids use the same mounting points for the rear of the IFS skid and the front of the transmission skid.

I didn't use any spacer and I have the diff drop. Just an FYI.

Great skids BTW. I have already beat the shit out of the front one at gulches. I landed on it coming off a rock and tweaked it a little.

Id be willing to make that trade. I could probably through in some deer, javelina, and lion meet to. But are you wanting me to ship it to you? or are you going to come to AZ some time soon?

Haha I was kind of just poking fun at your username. I probably would never make it out your way in a vehicle and shipping would kill the deal for sure. Sounds like you do some cool and exotic hunting though!

I did not need spacers. If your design remains unchanged from your first GB, should be good to go. I have a 1" toytec diff drop installed.

Well even with my Fedex discount, it would cost almost $300 to ship 25# in 2 days. Your total cost on the skid with shipping would be $240.

Right now all I need is the thickness you want, 1/8" or 3/16". When the group buy ends I will collect addresses for shipping cost and payment.
