I don’t have one, but I should add an extended cab camper won’t fit on a regular cab. You need a specifically made regular cab camper shell.

They are. But the roofline on a standard cab vs. extended cab are different. The standard cab slopes more steeply down than an extended cab. You can use a standard cab shell on an extended cab, but not the other way around.

Oh right, well I doubt it would matter as long as the topper/camper is functional.

It does matter, actually. The camper wouldn't fit on the truck at all. It would be hanging off the edge of the bed since the different slope would push it outwards.

A ext cab shell on a reg cab will look like this |\
Reg cab shell on ext cab\|
reg cab on reg cab is like this ||
Ext cab on ext cab is like \\

See the difference, you can get a reg cab shell to line up decent on a ext cab but a ext cab shell wont line up at all on a reg cab

Just do not let someone try to sell you a Double Cab model for newer Tacoma's. Ask for specific measurements before looking/wasting your time. Some people advertising think they are all the same.
