So my trucks suspension at 225k is sagging and toast which means its time to revamp it a little bit. ive been looking at the ome 881 coils with either the wheelers 5 pack or the dakars however my main concern is that i have 30" tires and will so for the next year or two (~26k miles on them now) ive seen pictures of trucks with the 5 pack and would be fine with the lift however I like the price of the ome kit with dakars and they seem to hold up better but seem to lift a bunch more. So my main question with this thread is has anyone removed leafs out of the dakars ie second overload or maybe others to lower the lift down?

TLDR short story can you remove leafs from dakars to lower the lift down some to sit? any pictures or hub-fender measurements would be appreciated. I tried to find threads but they seem to be for 2nd gens
