IMG_6763.jpg IMG_6812.jpg Hey guys in new to this forum but I figured I'd share my new project . I picked up a 2000 Tacoma extended cab 4x4 with minor front end damage so I decided to go with the 01-04 front end .

The issue some have with this conversion is the front bumper placement . I'm sure there are some other ways to mount the 01-04 rebar to the frame but this is how I did mines .

Take the 01-04 rebar bracket and cut off the mounts. And bolt them to the frame of your 95-00 tacomas . "See photos . Welding is not required.

Wow someone junked theirs because of minor front end damage like that? I saw a Corolla the other day with no hood, no grille, no driver's side door, and the bumper held on with bungee straps and duct tape. I can see why it was so badly damaged, the guy didn't even look when backing up and the guy behind him honked him while I was pulling out of the parking lot. Can't believe the damn thing still worked.

If you take care you your Toyota vehicle they're basically invincible. Nice front end swap, I never realized it was that easy. I might just have to do this.

Yea I got a killer deal on this . It was just the fender and headlight damaged on this one and a small dent on the hood. The swap is easy . With all the parts it takes about 2-3 hours to put together

Crazy how they put so much work into that truck with the suspension and off roading package yet they scrap it for simple front end damage. Nice find man.
