    4x Innovations

These sliders comes with the legs not yet welded and allows you to chose the slider angle of your choice.

4x Innovations is proud to offer the highest value Rock Slider kits available! These heavy duty Rock Sliders are constructed from your choice of American made 1.75 x .120 DOM or HREW steel. This high grade steel makes every Rock Slider kit strong enough to take the full weight of your vehicle and can be used to pivot off of rocks and trees, squeeze through tight areas or just plain hammer on your truck in those jagged rocks all while protecting your truck's body. Hi-Lift style jacks can be used anywhere along the length of the slider to assist in recovery. Rock Slider models are available with or without a rear kick out. The rear kick out adds a 2 inch bump out at the rear of the slider and provides much added protection to your rear wheel wells. The Rock Sliders with no kick out help keep your truck narrow for those tighter trails. The best part of buying sliders with the kickout, the price does not change.

    All Pro off road

These are no ordinary nerf bars. Our Rock Sliders have been trail tested on some of the most gruelling trails around, from the Rubicon to the Hammers and Moab. The mounting plates are CNC laser cut from 1/4" plate steel. The tubular structure is fabricated from heavy-duty 1.75" x .120" wall tubing sourced from US Steel Mills for industry-leading strength. The outer tube angles upward to provide more ground clearance and door protection. The rear of our Rock Sliders extend outward just before the rear wheels to provide extra body protection where it is needed most. This signature "Kick-Out" design protects the rear portion of the cab while maneuvering through tight obstacles. You'll be glad you have this feature next time you're wheeling next to a boulder, because as you near the end of the Rock Sliders they will push your truck out and away from danger just in time.

2 square holes on the side of the frame to locate the front and rear plate, and space the other 2 accordingly. (20-1/2" apart for extra cab) This makes for 4 equally spaced legs and allows the end legs to be out toward the end of the slider where they should be for maximum strength.

Thanks for this. Ended up purchasing a set of BAMF sliders for my dc.

I'd like to add my current sliders to this thread since I love the style. Thing is, Brian (owner/fabricator at Street/Beefed Tacos) has been unresponsive. Sucks cause he makes great products.

Thanks for the thread. I'm currently trying to make a decision. Trail gear and Stubbs Welding also make 1st gen sliders if you want to add them to the list.

Reviving the dead thread, any idea if any of these would work with glass all around? Will be converting mine once I gather suspension. It'll be the daily prerunner but I still like all around protection from idgets around town.

Glass as in fiberglass bedsides and fenders? I don't see why any of these sliders wouldn't work...they all attach (bolt-on/weld-on) to the frame of the truck.

Yeah fiberglass, I was just curious because of the buldge/bed spacing size.

Ah, I see what you're concerned about now. Maybe get the glass on then have a custom set of sliders made so that they stick out enough to help protect your bed sides better? Just another option.

Does anyone know if anyone still makes xtra cab sliders with a kickup? Not seeing the option on BAMF or Relentless websites anymore.

We no longer offer the kick-up option for our rock sliders. This option has been discontinued due to lack of interest and time as the additional tube is much more time consuming to make. A great alternative would be our two piece kickout.

I'm surprised I didn't see this thread back when I was looking for some rock slider for my truck. Good read.

One thing I will add from my experience on the All pro sliders. Mine is a double cab (80'' length).
From All Pro: ($439.00 + Shipping $216.89) Total cost after shipping = $655.89

This was too much for me so I looked at other options, that's until I found All-Pro Off road Rock Sliders (2001-AP-80) This is for a 79-95 Truck 86-02 4Runner.
The reason I got caught up on it is the design was exactly the same. Size matched exactly to what the other sliders are. I called All pro and the confirmed that they are exactly the same, well
except for one area that's different. The front mounting point tube was longer by +-3''. At this point I decided to give it a try and it was a simple adjustment that took maybe 20 min with measuring and
cutting and all to same my self around $332.36. Yep I'd do it again if I had to. Here is link of the sliders I got and the rock slider gussets. Both had free shipping.

    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aof-2001-ap-80 ($285 + gussets $38.53) = Total: $323.53
(when I bought the sliders there was a free shipping promotion) (current shipping would be an additional $50, still not bad)

Also picture below with blue tape marked where the cut needed to be made.
    Hope this helps someone someday.

This is great info. Seems like the best option for a 1st gen double cab...right? Just cut 3" off that one gusset and it's good to go. I don't weld so I'm sure whoever i give it to can cut it off easily enough. $285 for DOM sliders with kickout seems solid.

After all my research this is the best option I came up with. And the cutting was super easy, just measure and cut. who ever installs them shouldn't have any troubles.
