If you have an automatic, and 4-cyl, the elocker is not included in the TRD package.
You do get progressive front springs, and bilstein shocks. Not sure what else.

I've read 4 bangers didn't get the rr locking diff. Here's what else you should have with the TRD package on the sticker.
Here's from my 2000 TRD monroney window sticker. Does anybody know what the option FD - Four Wheel Demand for $240 is??

Are you the original owner or a second/third/etc owner? stickers don't mean anything and we've seen a lot of sellers put them on and unsuspecting buyers do not know.

you have to buy the locking rear axle and various electronic bits to make it work

That more then likely means that somebody just bought the $80 TRD stickers and put them on it.You can get up underneath and look just in case somebody took the locking diff switch out.(highly unlikely)

You would have to find a oem one, rear axle and diff in the classifieds or a junk yard(fairly rare),maybe ebay. Or you can get an ARB or other aftermarket. I had ARB front and rear on my last truck and actually liked them better as it seemed to be quicker engagement and disengagement.

I'm not that worried about it I was just wondering if the 2000's even had the locking diff option

If you have the v6, it probably means a previous owner just slapped on a pair of stickers on the sides.

Which side of your rear diff has the drain plug on it? Is it on the drivers side?

1st gens came with two very different rear axle assemblies. The TRD elocker rear diff has its drain plug on the drivers side of the diff.

I added a trd off-road elocker to mine. From my experience, the easiest route is acquiring:
    1) elocker housing
    2) 3rd member with elocker
    3) wiring harness from 12v guy
    4) 8 pin rocker switch.

...and don't forget to make sure the front and rear diffs match, gearing wise.

I'm curious if you have been under the truck to look at the rear axle at all?

Four Wheel Demand = Four Wheel Drive maybe?

I think that may have been Push Button 4 Wheel Drive.

My 2000 also had a J Shift, but I do recall that Four Wheel Demand being an option but not sure which year it first started.
