Have you pulled any codes? Warning lights are there for a reason, no matter how annoying they may be. Start here possibly?

Well as someone who has been in more car accidents then that average human and lived to tell the tale, I would not consider it a "minor" issue. Air bags are there to save your life and your passengers life in the event of an accidents and with the drivers these days accidents seem to occur more often then not and our little trucks don't provide much protection in general. Now it is minor in the sense that it wont affect the drivability of the truck but air bags have saved my life more times than I'd like to admit and trust me I was one of those "no air bags, I'll die like a real man" type guys until you actually almost die, then the joke ain't so funny.. so for what its worth I would recommend at least trying to fix it.

Yes pulled codes. Did this just start happening out of nowhere or did you do any work on the truck?

ahh you see you should have mentioned that before. you might have a bad/worn clock spring in your steering wheel. check to see if your horn cuts out while spinning the wheel, it may not be making contact at some point and thats why the light comes on and goes off.
