I just bought an Access Literider roll up bed cover for my 2003 tacoma double cab. And I couldn't find any info regarding this.

I'm having some install/clearance issues and am wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me. Or if anyone has installed a cover on their 1st gen please send pictures.

I want to keep my factory bed liner still, but do not mind modifying it to make the tonneau cover to work.

I have a Access Original tonneau that I run in the winter in my 2001 xtra cab but my Softopper is on now so no pics available.

Your first pic: that 1/8” gap should not be an issue as the tonneau cover mount panel should cover that. If it doesn’t cover it, you may just have to put a little piece of weatherstripping in there. I would not notch the liner as water will get under your liner. You could round off that tonneau rail if you wanted to fit better.

your second pic: It looks like the liner doesn’t fit flush to to the bed rail inside curve of your bed. Even if your liner was removed, that tonneau rail still looks way too long. You sure they gave you the right rails for your truck?

judging by the bed dimensions and curvature that bed-liner is bumped out early and doesn't follow the actual shape of the bed rails. you could cut into it and it should sit flush then. look at where the bed rail start inward in the following pic

also @Tacomaology do you have the TOYOTA or PENDALINER liner? and even looking at the first pic it may not be compatible with OTR (over the rail)
