Looks like a regular push-button transfer case to me? What you have circled on the left is the VSS and on the right is the electronic 2/4wd actuator.

Sounds like you removed this from your truck? Does your truck have a 4WD push button T-Case shifter or a J-Pattern shifter?

    ^^Agreed

yes, i removed it from the truck and it does have the 4wd push button. Do you guys know what type of transfer case I have? Also, would I be able to buy the part serperately and slap it on? Just because when I look at other transfer cases, they look completely different.

What's wrong with your current transfer case?

Should be easy to find a used one if you want to swap the whole thing.

I put a used transmission in and my friend got it to reverse, slowly backed up on driveway its own then when stepping on gas it seemed to kick in to reverse gear really hard. After pulling it out the driveway, putting it into drive did the same thing. Kick hard into drive, going forward slowly put putting in more gas didn't really do much. Then my friend thought it was a good idea to put it into four wheel drive, now it doesn't move or kick into any gear. So, My first thought was to take out the transfer case since it hasn't been replaced but worst case is moving on to another used transmission. I bought a wrong transfer case which resulted to me to reach out.

Does anyone know if a non-push-button ECU will still allow me to use my push-button transfer case from the same year?
