As far as I'm aware for our first gen Tacos there are no direct swaps from any other Toyota. The closest you'll get with some seats is 3 out of 4 bolts lining up. I owned a Tundra for a bit and I would be surprised if the Tundra seats would fit comfortably inside the Taco cab, they seemed to be a fair bit bigger.

If you know how to weld you might be able to make it work. I know some people have swapped in seats from Scions and RSXs.

I figured they wouldn’t line perfect but I was wondering about the height and what not

Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
I think the welding method is best. Unless you get lucky like me and find some Limited Tacoma seats. I would the 4Runner seats which are the same seats as the Limited Tacoma seats and weld the seat bracket or have a local shop do it.

Well you're going to have to cut ,weld, and make new brackets regardless, so you should be able to set the height to whatever you want. Just take a quick measurement of the thickness of the lower pad and the length of the back and if you compare it to the taco seats that'll tell you if you can make it work or not.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Tundra seats would be a tight fit.. they’re not small. And they’re captains chairs. They sit pretty high

No seats except the 1st Gen Tacoma seats will bolt up. You’ll have to weld and cut your own brackets or feet to make it work. Tundras are also full size trucks, and you’re trying to put full size truck seats into a compact truck.

If you are going to weld a seat in - measure first. You don't want your head in the ceiling or sitting too low. As Bartmaster said - compact pickup. Things like S10, Ranger - even sports car seats will work. I measured some 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee seats and almost put them in my pickup. They were really close to being similar in size.

Tundra seats are a bit bigger when place next to Tacoma seats, in 2014 guy had a few sets of Toyota seats for sale from previous vehicles. Tundra seats were from a limited edition I think and they were really nice but they were sitting right next to a set of Tacoma buckets from a 2005 and my thought was there would be no way I can get those to fit in a standard cab truck. So I purchased the 2005 Taco's and utilized the brackets in the link posted.

Prices on these seem to have gone up on them since my purchase and they did raise the elevation of the seat by 2-3".
