Ok I've done a bit more research on sub options and it looks like I really have two feasible options.

Option 1 - I can purchase this box and load it with two pioneers, for those those that have this setup please let me know your thoughts.

    Box - http://www.soundoffaudio.com/item.cfm/id/2118

Option 2 - I can have Mr Marv build me a custom console/box for the rear that will house the L7.

    Box/Console - http://tacoma.1accesshost.com/index.html

SO give me your opinions on either setup and as always your opinions on other options are welcome. In addition I would appreciate any recommendations on what amps would work with either option.

    TIA

    Jerry

I can't really offer you any advice on other setups, but out of the two you put out there, I would go with mr. marv and an l7. I've heard nothing but good things about mr. marv, and the l7's are better subs than the pioneer shallows.

i think you'll have better sound with the l7. marv makes his enclosures to the speakers recommended airspace. most prebuilt enclosures have a set airspace and then you have to pick a speaker that matches.
