I can't find the thread but there was a guy on here that posted over a year ago that he found a 1st gen tucked away in a barn with 600 miles on the odometer. It had been in a wreck shortly after it was bought, repaired and then stored away for whatever reason. Pretty cool find.

Although with only 600 miles and 12+ years of sitting, the engine was never even broken in...don't know how reliable it would be nowadays.

Yeah, being stuck in a barn and never run is likely worse for the motor than having 150k miles on it.

Anything that's rubber would need to be replaced anyway, so you're already going to be doing the same maintenance items on it as if it had an average amount of miles. That low of miles just means the seats are (probably) in better condition.

Gonna put a quick 3kish on in about a month. Once I get done with school and move closer to work I should stop putting so many miles on it. Then the daily driver mod in a couple years.

I bought an 04 extra cab 4x4 a couple weeks ago with 29058 miles on it. Runs like new, but the physical condition doesn't reflect the mileage.

I'd be happy to post pics, but the truck just isn't nice. It's actually kind of a POS. Not much to look at. I bought it from the original owner and apparently they weren't concerned with keeping it looking good. Plenty of mechanical maintenance though.

Edit. Plenty of routine maintenance for 29k.
