1st official 2012 complaint filed

I followed another thread for the whistling noise and found my problem. It was the rubber seal above the front grille. I took some 1/4 inch ( I think) refrigerator tubing to stiffen the seal up. No whistling anymore!

 

Other than the retarded navi unit mine has been perfect.

 

I just took my first trip in my fully decked out 2012 ToyotaTacoma TRD. I went from LA to Las Vegas. As soon as I hit 70+ mph I got this noise. It stayed with me for 4 hours there and 4 hours back. I could not turn the radio up high enough to cover this up and I could not use on Bluetooth system because the noise was so loud. I was ready to set my truck on fire after 8 hours of this. I showed this to the dealer and they are going to try and figure it out next week. Wish me luck.

saw your video- try putting a strip of packaging tape over the top of the windshield weather stripping then test it. in your video it seemed louder at the top of the windshield.
