First day in a while above single digits. Had an Access Laredo Tonneau installed at less than the best internet price. Then went to dealer for 5000 mi oil change. every thing great, washed including the weathertec mats. However service advisor says LR Shock is blown, RR is leaking. These are Bilstein. Dealer says never seen these go bad like that. Covered under warranty. No it hasn't been off road yet, we've had over 90 inches of snow and most is still out there.

At least its covered under warranty. Kinda odd that it happened so soon though.

At least you know that the dealer is actually looking at things when servicing.

The population of Maine would increase significantly if everyone here who has had a bad dealer experience decided to move to your state.

As stated by Jimmyh - be glad they actually gave your truck a going over. Many dealers slam dunk oil/tire rotation and botch one or both in some way.

Well, went in last Friday for the shocks. Wrong ones were sent. Dealer very apologetic, gave me a $25 credit on my account to spend however. Was there after work today, right ones were in and installed. 35 minutes later, I'm on my way home.

I would trade your dealer for the 6 that are in my area in a N. Y. minute.

I bet you got a little to much ice up on the pistons...The Rancho rear shocks I put on last summer already have surface rust...
