After 30 days an first payment this is my review.

Exterior of Limited is just like I would want it. Nothing else to say.

Engine makes more HP further up in power range which is typical with smaller cubic inch engines. You can hear a little more engine noise than I feel like you should. But it is not that big a deal.

Transmission: I was reluctant after reading post on tranny. But, after driving OR, Sport an a Limited. I did feel like there was a difference in way tranny shifted. Oddly enough the truck I ended up with is Limited. It has 18" tires an wheels. It does feel a little different that most others when it comes to shifting at proper time. But, I'm convinced that it is due to fifth an sixth being more like two overdrives. The 3.90's in front an rear helped somewhat. The only time I really notice it is when running around 40 mph. But I understand Toyota did this to increase fuel mileage. Which it did, I'm fine with that. Nice to run 70 mph an get 21 MPG. I just wish they would have gave a Limited option of locking rear end.

Interior looks nice. Like whole setup especially JBL radio. Would have been nice if there was a little more room in back. But its ok. Wish they would have done emergency brake like 2nd Gens. Also, wish cruise control was on steering wheel. Other than that, that is it.

The cover over back is bad quality because it leaks at the back. That is my biggest an really only real complaint.

I got truck two days before recall on rear end surfaced. I thought o crap. Here we go. I started thinking all complainers are right. But, mine is not leaking an they can check it when I go in for 5000 mile service. As of now. I have no major complaints.

    Time will tell.

Glad to hear you like your new truck, congrats! I wanted to sneak in something positive before all the regulars show up to shit all over your thread and tell you how much your problem free truck sucks.

Glad you are enjoying your truck, and hopefully you will have zero issues forever! As long as you are happy with it, no one else's opinion matters!!!

Hope you're in it for the long haul, after the recent drop in value due to the recall.

Yeah I am hoping it will recover by March April of next year, so annoying I was upside 600 in my lease and ready to trade in on the new truck so I ordered it and 3 weeks before it came in book just plummeted

I loved my truck for the first 6k or 7k miles then issues started popping up. Bottom line is only more time and mileage will tell you the real story. Glad you are happy with yours so far.

Thanks. I'm not worried about what everybody else says. They are not making payments on my truck.

The Limiteds are awesome! Happy to hear you are enjoying it. I have the lowly SR5 but it's nice too. I get ~21 mpg. city/hwy mixed. Regarding the diff recall, I guess some diffs were not torqued correctly. Mine doesn't leak @ 2000 miles. I'm keeping an eye on it, but I will just take it in for service when I get the notice in the mail.

Nice write up. Don't worry about book value due to the recall. I recently had an M3 that dropped in value due to the Takata airbag recall. A few months later it came right back up.

Nice to see more positive posts on the 3rd gen. 1500 miles on mine and I couldn't be happier. Ive owned a 2010 tundra... that I didn't like at all. 2015 ram 1500 hemi, 2012 cummins, ect. Power and overall drivability is excellent in my Tacoma. So much easier to park too.
