    Hello all-
Recently made some modifications to my stock 98' 2.7 Tacoma. Slapped on some Cragar Soft 8's and 31/10.5 Firestone Destination M/T's. 2" lift coming on early summer.

Just wanted to say thanks to all for the threads related to those mods. I was able to walk into the store prepared/educated on all topics....as well as assured that all would fit well.

Have about 1.5" of tire out from the fender. Looks like some flares may be in the works in the near future..or at least until the po9 makes me!

    Thanks again,
    James

Nice truck man! i'v always liked the destinations M/T's. I had a friend with a set on his dodge cummins and they were a beast.

    Nice truck jmich.

IMO black TRD flares, painted black door handles, bumper inserts and grille and a debadging would make your truck look uber-sick

    Thanks, Madjik-
Would you plasti-dip the handles and grille? That is what I am looking at doing. (although the cost of replacing the grille with the OEM Black wouldn't be much more expensive)
    Thanks again,
    j

I'm not a fan of plasitdip because I've had bad luck applying it. Many here have done great jobs with it and swear by its durability.

I just sanded, primed and painted pretty much everything but my wheels. It's been holding up great and when I give the truck a bath, it all looks brand new.

FYI - using vinyl dye on our lower bumper valences is best.

I wouldn't use paint, use Rustoleum Bedliner! I think it holds better if you want a more permanent black
