    I'm learning a lot here.

So spacer and leveling kits are a no no.

The shock set up doesn’t sound half bad and a little cheaper. Now what I have in my mind is if I get the front shocks to be 2.5" taller, wont it look like a low rider’s set up? (The picture is only to show an example of the front being higher than the back).

    thats a bro-learn, opposite of a rake.

bro-lean= front higher than the back----looks cool as fuck, makes bitches want your dick, get to hang out with flat billers and diesels with stacks, and the sun shines right in your face if you're bro enough.

rake=back higher than the front---- good for heavy loads and not much else

billy 5100 are adjustable to 0'', 0.85'', 1.75'', and 2.5'' of lift. So if you don't want the bro lean (looks dumb unless you are a bro from san diego), set to .85. 1.75 will make you level or very slight bro lean.

get billies as suggested by others down south motor sports can hook you up no problems.

they ride nice are inexpensive proven and will provide the clearance needed to clear those wheels and tires.

gscott had asked the question howyou felt about losing the mud flaps cutting the cab mount possibly and trimming plastic in the wheel well. its not as dramatic as it sounds i did a good bit of all of that business to be able to stuff my 295/70-17's

what tire did you decide on btw? i had wondered myself what direction you where heading regarding tire choice. the mickey's in the op are pretty aggressive then you posted up like a performance summer looking tire which is a completely different direction altogether.

good luck post up pics of the new set-up when you get it in :)

I was never really set on a tire, just the rim. Once I seen the trouble to get that Mickey Thompson ATZ 318/52-R20 on and the information about the spacer and leveling kits I knew I didn’t want to go that route.

I think I have come to the conclusion I will get the BMF rims (http://www.bmfwheels.com/novakane.html), the tires will be some 285/50-R20XL Nitto - NT420S (http://www.tirebuyer.com/tirebuyerw...chyBySize/tireCatalogView_selectedItem/154521) and the Bilstein/RCD 5100 Series front shocks (http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-1...pre-runner-4wd-front-pre-load-adjustable.html).

I DON'T want a bro lean so I just hope I can get the front end adjusted enough with the shocks to allow the tires and rims to be on it to not have to cut anything. It’s turned into an ordeal for my first post but I think I have it figured out now.

Appreciate everyone that has contributed and I will post pictures as soon as I get things underway.

It not, but on a brand new vehicle I can definitely see how it could make people uncomfortable because it isn't something thats easily reversible.

That's what I'm going to try first before buying the shocks, not the terra grapplers but the NT420S! Should know a little before Christmas.

is there a major diff between 275/60 and 285/50? i have no lift and im not trin to cut anything. im pretty sure the 285/50 are only 32"s. but you still had to cut with a 3" lift?

You won't be able to fit the 275/60's without a lift.
