Hi, my name is Steve and people call me 'Moose'. I recently picked up my 2nd 1st gen Tacoma. My previous one was a red 97' 4x4 4 cylinder that I absolutely loved. Im 6'3'' and it was a regular cab so driving it with my knees all the time got tiering.

So here is the new one. Found it at a dealer in GA so I flew up from south FL and drove it home.. I was impressed with how clean and rust free it was. 82k on the clock when I picked it up..

What a jewel! Congrats on the new truck!
If it's a southern truck, your probably good to go but I would do a thorough inspection of the frame for rust. Being an 04 it's still covered for frame replacement for a couple years as long it was coated by Toyota.
Toyota owners website is good for checking service records if you don't have them.
You probably know about the frame rust issue on 1st gens but figured I'd give you a heads up if not.
    Nice truck man!

Sounds good, don't molest her too much, she's pretty close to perfect as she sits.
