Hey everyone! New member to the site and new Tacoma owner. Love the truck, quite an upgrade from my 2002 S-10... looking forward to learning more about Tacomas and stealing a few upgrade ideas lol.

well, you've got an awesome truck that is well equipped stock (assuming you want to take it on off-roading adventures) so no need to get too overwhelmed thinking of things to add asap, lol. I have to remind myself of the same thing from time to time. But I really want a lift, right now. And sliders. And bumpers. And black wheels. :( sigh

Yep i want all that too lol. Tried to get the dealer to swap a bed cover from a sport and put on mine but they were not interested lol. He told me if i ordered one thru them that it could be on back order until September? Thought that was rather odd so ill just find one elsewhere

I love it, mine came with my truck (was a pleasant surprise actually, the Toyota saleslady I was talking with on the phone had no idea it was supercharged and I found out when I went to go look at the truck). It definitely works as advertised, and I'm happy to say that I don't really notice it effect my mileage too much if I'm gentle with it. It's just nice to know that if I need to suddenly haul ass on the freeway on-ramp, I can no problem lol :burnrubber:Adds about 65-70 horses and about the same amount of torque, so it's definitely noticeable.

That said, superchargers are very expensive add-ons and if my truck hadn't come with one, I don't know if I would put one on...probably not unless I was super rich and had the money to blow. My only gripe is having to put premium fuel in, but it's not that bad...just an extra few bucks per tank.

and as @YDCtaco says, no blower for the 3.5l motor yet. But I'm sure that'll change eventually :mudding:

Welcome to the site! SC is great, helps overcome the added weight of bigger tires, but not race car status.
