250,000 miles original owner. I just rebuilt engine .020 over F-1 stage 3 clutch Rancho Quick Lift on front & RS 9000XL on rear and on & on...
Good Day All, 1st timer here, never posted anything before but Ive done a lot of reading on this site as a guest it has been very helpful. long story short I love my toyota 4x4 250,000 miles on it and I did every one 2.7 liter and still continues to impress me. I have pulled chevys, fords, and about 6 months ago a real big Dodge 1 ton diesel 4x4. Twice in ten min. boy he was real ticked off especially when I had to drag him home thru the subdivision. I took the main entrance so everyone could see that real big new Dodge Ram being pulled by my little Taco. he still aint talking to me. Oh well Sorry Im rambling. after a quarter of a million miles I burnt an exhaust valve on #2 cylinder so figured it was time for some deserved upgrades and maintaince bored it .020 a set of mahle pistons, new chains, gears, guides, didn't even need to turn the crank less than a thousants wear so just polished it. I did however did order a clutch kit F-1 stage 3 with new flywheel $245 thought that was pretty good. been cleaning scraping and painting. Looks pretty good. I wanted to do the Brakes that is what lead me to your site again. I was wondering about upgrading to the Tundra Brakes and disk on rear. Also did the Rancho Quick lift strut Assemblies on the front and the RS9000XL on the rear. any advice would be helpful. As you can tell I love my taco. well thanks for lettin me rant

Wow, sounds like you are and your truck have been through a lot.

I can't help you with the brake question, but try searching for it. I'm sure someone has tried it or at least has some insight.

    btw welcome to TW!
