    Aloha,
I have finally made an account after months of research & lurking through TW forums:rofl: I picked up a 2001 5lug Tacoma and let me tell you that this truck has the least amount of lift options available. Still, I was determined to get this thing going.
I didn't care if it was a 2WD Because I have the mentality of "it's not the truck it's the driver." I picked up the Tacoma w/220,000mi and she's still kicking! Mainly using her just for work, fishing and hauling things. These trucks are amazing!

Things I've done to her so far include:
    fabtech 3"spindle lift/AAL,
    headlights
    Hood latch
    grill
    Hood
    15x8 pro comp97
    235/75/r15 Achilles XMT

I still need to change out a lot of things in there (mostly cosmetic) but for the most part she's running.

Previous owner had the hood latch fail and the hood flew up and hit the top of the cab.
    Got it replaced

Yeah, I liked the look of it but not a fan of driving it on Hawaii roads, We have a bad pot hole problem that our state takes a long time to fix.
    image.jpg
The ubolts were bent and the heat sheild from the exhaust is all tore up from hitting bumps. (Which I need to rip off since it rattles Everytime I drive it)

I Bought this truck off my homie that always had it lowerd and it was just sitting in his yard for a year just looking dead. His brother and I go fishing a lot and I needed a truck.
We have an off-road state park here on Oahu (KaenaPoint) where we do a lot of fishing.

His brother got a 2018Tacoma4x4 and made me want to get a truck to go rambling too :p he can pull me out if I ever get stuck haha

Dude thats a pretty hard core drop, blocks and looks like 6lug leafs with the 5lug over load. He should of c notched the frame. That or he destroyed those 5lug leafs. But those need replacing big time. Also you need to get the stock bump stops back. How was the front lowerd? Bj flip?

Yeah, and they used stock infinity G35 springs.

I had to buy new stock OEM springs

The fabtech spindle lift gave it a little lift but not much. I Might have to do a body lift in the future but we'll see once I get new wheels and tires today.

Did you make sure to install the bj the right way, and i would do a body lift. Look into the doestch tech lift.
