    no offense taken bro

yea some people will opt for that lifetime warranty on aftermarket axles

and some other people will opt for the oem toyta axle

the oem vs aftermarket axle argument is a topic often talked about on this forum, not all parts are created equally, and I am not bashing the autozone parts as I have at times used them myself as well...

An OEM axle is far stronger/superior to any AutoZone/Duralast parts store axle. Lifetime replacement is nice but some people prefer to not have their axles break easily on trails. All this one needs is a reboot. $150 is a good price imo

i would add this: the things that should be consider/asked when or if ever needing to decide between oem and aftermarket axles...

question 1: do you have a front locker
question 2: have you ever actually broken an axle (no not just a ripped/torn boot)

if you answered NO on either of those questions, then more than likely it wont matter if you go oem or aftermarket...
if you answered YES on either of those questions, then more than likely you stand to benefit from an oem axle over the aftermarket...

the other thing to note is not all aftermarket axles are the same, there are in fact some decent axles out there for example the napa units are very close to the oem units, where as the autozone axles are a bit different than both the oem and napa options...

Any chance you’d be in the Philly area anytime soon? I need a donor cv joint for my LT axles. I might be able to have my brother meet you since he works at NYU. Let me know.
