Hey everyone, I have a 95 tacoma, 3.4l 4x4 standard cab. I want to replace my leaf springs and I looked on rockauto and it says 2/1 for standard cabs. The truck has 3/1 but was curious on what the difference is. Like is ride quality better and smoother if it has less springs?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
No way to really know! In theory it might carry less weight

Give up cargo weight capacity for a smoother ride why even have a truck.

So many things can factor into spring construction

Check out General Spring in Kansas City great web site and Customer service at least a few years ago.

Those are probably going to be pretty generic, your probably going to need new shackles too,
I'm getting OEM CSO18 installed next week,
I think they are a 5 pack setup.
95-97 springs are shorter in length.
    Running a 97 3.4, 5 speed reg cab too,
    So will report back

Yes with helper springs added because I haul a double axle trailer every once in a while,
The helper springs make it very rough and I will be removing those unless there’s 200 pounds in the rear then it rides smoothly with the helper springs

Ah okay, I see! Maybe be a good idea for me just to put the 3/1 back on since I do want to have the ability to tow, in case I ever need to
