You make a good point. If you are correct, then the breakdown of my CV was not caused by my 2" of lift.
I think I recall now, my memory is not good (at 67), that my CV boot was pretty shot when I was forced to replace the CV axle on that side.
Based on your point, dirt or sand likely led to its breakdown.

I did write to a couple of the companies but haven't heard back (probably cuz it's holiday season). In the meantime, do you guys think it's unwise to only get the front lift for now? As I said earlier, I'm contemplating getting front 2inch lift with Bilstein 5100 + emu springs, and only replace the the rear shocks with Bilsteins as well and see how the truck sits/drives like that. Would the back sag too much hauling a dirt bike? it's only 300lb...

It might look a bit silly when loaded. Something like this:

    Class,

For the rear, I would just add a leaf to your existing springs to lift them 2" and get Bilsteins to match that height.

Hmm, I have my front coilovers set to about 2.5" of lift and its not problem to align it to factory specs at all.

Yes, the rear would look sagged even without the load. Some people are into that look, to each their own, it's your truck so really up to you.

A couple years ago I purchased a complete kit from Toytec and its been amazing. It is TTBOSSTAC-9804ALM: Not super cheap but its a really high quality kit and on our 2000 reg cab (no heavy stuff on it) it provides a really nice ride and its great in the dirt. On road handling is also excellent. Worth every dime.
