Anybody running one? If so what other mods and do you think it helped much?

Throttle lag and such has me thinking this may be part of the solution.

If you are referring to the LCE big bore TB, I have one, or should I say, I sent mine to them and they made it so.

I noticed better throttle response for sure, that's the only difference other than the sound. No mpg gains and no HP gains that I can feel... it's no race truck for sure.

If my truck were 100% stock and hadn't gained so much weight, that would be the real test.

I'm running the big bore LCE throttle body on my 3RZ and 5 spd. I also have a K&N CAI, Doug Thorley header, LCE Stage 1 Cam, and Flowmaster exhaust to complement it. It's not comparable to a Tacoma V-6 with a 5spd but it keeps up with Tacomas V-6/auto pretty well.

I see you're in San Marcos... I'd like to see your truck. Does it pass smog?

I too have the 2.7 motor w/ auto trans, Thorley header, a Magna Flow muffler and a CAI, no modified cams.

How is your fuel mpg and HP?

I'm in Carlsbad now but your welcome to check it out after Christmas. I have no idea about fuel mpg. No idea about hp either but it is enough motor to keep my little truck flying through the dirt.

You ever think about adding a high flow cat? California legal of course. Surprised how much a new cat opened up my miata with an old cat.

I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a California legal high flow cat. I will be sure to build that into my new exhaust whenever that happens.

    Good deal thanks for info!

Im running dt header, flowmaster exhaust, k&n intake, e-fans, and underdrive crank pulley. Seems the TB and cams are in order along with the high flow cat if i can find the one i took off few years ago.
