    2.4 Question submitted on 10-05-2009
I have a 96 2wd with the 2.4 engine. It ran fine till the coil went out. I replaced the coil, And now it has a bad miss when under a load. It does not miss at idle, Or at higher rpms. I have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. One step at a time, And nothing has helped. Any one have an idea of what's wrong?

    Update.
The distributor was bad. But when you replace it, Make sure the timing is right. If not the cel will show the crank shaft sensor is bad. Take the valve cover off And align the timing marks. I didn't and Mine started at one tooth off... I hope this saves someone else from the head aches I had .:goingcrazy:
