2.5" eibach springs

is anyone running these? i couldn't find any mention of them through a brief search. after a call to headstrong offroad, i was told they were 10mm taller than the 1.6" eibachs. just curious of real world lift dimensions on a double cab V6. marie from headstrong stated that they were the same rate at 620#. i'm thinking of using these with my 5100's set at 0. just wondering what kind of actual height i will get without any armor. thanks

I installed them on my truck with 5100s at zero. Sitting at 22'' passenger side and 21.5'' on the driver's side. Im going to be adding a 1/2 spacer to bring the front end up a bit more. I added 1.5'' progressive AAL in the rear and it's at 23''. I was hoping to get more lift out of the coils but hopefully the spacer will level the truck out

 

RadRed- how is the ride on these coils? How many miles do you have on them now?

 

The ride is great, much better than stock. Ive had them on for probably 2-3k miles

 

Any issues compressing the coil or during installation?

Do you notice concrete seams in the interstate much?

 

I had a shop install them, you feel bumps but its not rough or anything

 

I was considering running these as well.
I currently have 5100 set at 0 with 1.6 eibachs.

I am at 22" on both sides with 5100's at 1.75". You are the second person saying they are at 22" with the 2.5" Eibachs. Sounds like these springs don't actually provide 2.5".

Anyone actually getting 2.5 inches from the Eibach/Toytec 2.5 springs?

 

Everyone that I've seen isn't getting close, not sure where toytec is getting 2.5 from but they definitely did not give me that, only got 1.5 on the drivers side, which was extremely aggravating.

 

I installed my Eibach 521600 2.5" coils 10 days ago without the top plate spacer on either side and was 21 7/8" both sides

What I don't know is what the stock TRD OR 4x4 measurement is from center of Hub to under edge of fender. I didn't keep that measurement when I changed to 5100s. But I think it is around 20".

Did you need to install the OME carrier spacers too?
What lift do you have in the rear?
I only spotted the 3 degree shims.

I am 4x4 OR and my hub to fender numbers stock averaged 20.5" before 5100's. Looks like you are now sitting about 2.5" higher.

I'm starting to think I need to go with the OME 885's for an actual 2.5" without spacers. Thoughts?

 

885s possibly...since Ive never used them I can't say for certain. But I can say these 521600 are wonderful in terms of comfort as compared to a compressed TRD OR coil.

Buy some 885s, ship to me and I'll let you know how they ride.

 

I'm using Bilstein 5100s with Eibach Coils, Not OME. The Eibach (ToyTec) uses a top plate spacer.

Rear is a 1.5" progressive AAL from ToyTec. 5160 shocks in rear.

I do not have 3deg shims installed. Just bought incase.....

 

I have an access cab sport, but with the 885x after .5 inch settling I am at 22 inch driver side and 22.5 inch passenger side.
Factor that into your height wishes.

 

885's installed with 5100 at '0'. I am now at 22 1/2 and the ride is smoother than 5100 at 1.75". Loving it! Glad I didn't crank the 5100's to 2.5"
