6” lift + smooth ride is gonna be a tough battle. Do the Fox’s have dampening adjusters? What lift kit?

I put fox 2.5’s on my ‘17. I bought them through Accutune who custom tuned them for my truck and driving conditions. They took about a month to soften and loosen up. They are awesome now.

A good ride starts with good tires.
Next, a good ride is predicated on good springs. Last is good shocks.

I would argue all of these factors can have an equal effect if not tuned or spec’d correctly. Shocks with high compression damping will negate the plushness of compliant springs, and vice versa. Tire and wheel weight (unsprung weight) also plays a huge role.

Only when everything is dialed, or at least at a proper level of compromise, can you have a good ride.

yeah....... probably, but it seems like you can't fix tires. a cold, hard tire just makes your ride suck, no matter what you do. You are right though, you can tune shocks to help the springs and vice versa. But tires? Never been successful at that.

A ride with 6” blocks is not the way to go if you’re looking for a smooth ride.
Look into BDS Suspension, they have fox coil overs for a 6” lift.

Thank you, I'm interested in a true 3"lift?? still considering a smooth ride. I know type of tires also make the ride.

Blocks in the back + fox (im sure theyre cranked all the way) will not get you a smooth ride. Thats why most here do 2-3” lift.

Did this improve your ride quality? I'm under the impression that the 6 inch fox 2.5 from BDS doesn't actually change the suspension travel from normal fox 2.5. I'm thinking that more of the strut is just covered by a longer spring and it's just a marketing tactic to make it appear that there's more travel?

Was just watching Mad Max: Fury Road

That is the same lift Immortan Joe was rocking. He seemed pretty pleased with it.
