hows it goin guys i just joined this forum, theres alot of good info on here! but anyways i have a 2000 tacoma 2wd 5 lug 4cy im about to order some new tires, rims and a leveling kit

my stock tire size is 225-70-14

with a 2.5 leveling kit would i be able to fit a 30x9.50 15 under there? i think it would be a preety tight fit. i called a guy at 4 wheel parts and he said i should have plenty of room lol, what do you guys think? thanks in advance

I generally believe the opposite of anything 4wp says.

yea lol, it was almost like he was just saying it would fit so he wouldnt have to help me out.

i measured my wheel wells in the back and a 30 would fit on the back but im preety sure it would rub in the front even with the 2.5 inch spacer. the 225-70 stock tire is almost 4 inches smaller then the 30 inch tire so technically that spacer wouldnt allow enough room for the tire.

whats a good tire and rim size for my application? again its a 5 lug 2wd 4 cyl stick shift any other help would be great

hahah come on! that would be to much bling bling for me ;)

i seriously cant find a tire smaller then the 30-9.5-15, my coworker thinks that this setup would work i think i might just get it and see what happens, hopefully they have a good return policy lol

There's actually a good chance they'll clear even without trimming, depending on what offset he ends up with.

You need to cut that 3.59 in half. 3.59 is the total difference, you will only see half of that height actually apply, so you're gaining less than 2" in tire height.

The offset is determined by whatever wheel you choose. What wheels and tires are you looking at?

As far as trimming, it would be the lower corners of your bumper. I doubt you'll have to do much trimming though, if any, with 2.5" of lift.
