So I'm looking for some feedback as to what I should do to achieve 3"'s of lift up front utilizing the 5100's @ 2.5" I already have installed. My thoughts are to by new coils and set the billies back to 0 but not too sure which ones to get. I also still have the OEM billies in the shed as well What say you TW?

I run the OME shocks and OME 885s with a spacer - 20k miles and CVs are going strong.

Not sure on the OME spring and 5100s for total lift though - do a search. I'm pretty sure there is all sorts of info on that..

I love the way my 5100's set at 0 with the 885x springs ride. But you are not going to get 3" out of this setup with a 4x4 Double Cab Long Bed. With my Access Cab prerunner I get slightly over 2.5". I would expect you to get 2.25" of lift. If you got some 1/2 top plate spacer it should get you pretty darn close to 3".

You can run a 1/4" thick top-plate spacer on the the billy's. That will give you an extra 1/2" of lift, and it's only $20 or so.

Isn't this top plate spacer used to adjust for the taco lean on the driver's side? Also does it install between the top of coil and top-plate?

That's a CYA statement by ARB because they have never officially tested the OME coils on Billies. Several members have run them without issue.
That's if you are at stock height and only put the one in on the driverside. But yes they are the same.

Yes but if you use one on each side, it will lift both sides 1/2". Similar to the OME setup.

And you shouldn't have too bad of a taco lean if you are using the stock coils because the drivers side coil is stiffer than the passenger side.

this is easiest and cheapest way to do it.

I have 5100's set at .85 with 884's. sits a little over 3", but i also have Camburg uca's and no cv's to worry about.

So are the 884's producing most of the lift assuming you aren't using the 1/4" spacers?

Edit: Hold on, I see conflict. Do you have 884's or 885's?

884's no top spacer.... the thing under my avatar is a typo, if thats what your referring to. too lazy to fix it :D... the 884's a lone provide about 2.5" so i set the bilstein's to .85, but you would want 885's since your a DC

the front rides silky smooooth :D... but the rear rides like shit cause its still stock. i plan on fixing that soon with Icon AAL's and Fox shocks though.

we already told you your options to achieve a full 3" with 5100's. only other way is to go all out and buy coilovers.
